I have been doing this month long squat challenge that I wanted to introduce you guys to! It is really not that bad. The beginning was really easy even though I never did squats before. The more you do in one day then it gets a little harder but you just CAN'T give up!! And here's my tip: do not, I repeat do not skip a day because then to make it right you have to make that up which means double the next day and that kills lol. So anyway, I'm on day 14 I believe and I have honestly seen changes. Of course I have a butt, but I'm getting an ass now! *please excuse the language* And not to gross anybody out but the little cellulite I had on my legs has disappeared! I really suggest you try this one out. Of course I'm also riding my bike on the side, usually just around the yard but yesterday I rode my bike to work which was about 10 miles! Woo! Hope you all have a blessed day!

In Loving Memory-SMASH book
Good morning! Glad to see I got over the hump day. I am ready for the weekend and don't want to go to work today :( my throat is killing me, my nose is running, I just feel horrible. Would anyone like to go to work for me?? You can Pinterest and Facebook all day long! Lol.
Well last night I got off early and came home. I decided as I waited for Nate to get home I would see about doing a quick page in my book. I wanted to work on my page "In Loving Memory" for my Grandfather. Well I already had some letters from my cricut cut out but then I remembered I had some scrabble letters! And he was never a big scrabble player I think but he was a big game person especially cards! I remember we were always playing some sort of card game! So with the help of my mom we decided the scrabble letters looked better! So below is my 2 page spread. There's numbers in the top corners of the photos and I used the big card to journal a little about each photo. The smaller card has his dates. It's a very simple page I know, but that's ok! I think it turned out very nice. I also had the pages covered up. I didn't like the original pages so picked some of the paper I had and just simply covered them.
Please let me know how you think it turned out and of you have any feedback or suggestions for me at all please let me know! Thanks and have a wonderful day, it's almost Friday!

100 Things I love!-SmashBook
Hello! How is everybody today? It is Thursday, and I am so ready for Saturday.
I can't wait to sleep in and I think I will be going to a scrapbook get together so I'm excited to get to work in my SMASH* books some more.
I know I've posted some on a few of my smash pages but I guess I've never really talked about them and why I love them!
Well first of all if you have no idea what I'm talking about check out this video by the K&Company here. I have never been a big scrapbooking or stamping gal. My mom has always ALWAYS been (she's been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator for so many years now). And I tried so many times to get into it with her, making cards and scrapbook pages, but I just felt like they HAD to be perfect and they weren't so I would get angry and give up...(I know, poor attitude right?).
Well anyways, I believe I first saw this video on Pinterest one night and I was like..."OH! I HAVE to have one of those!" Right? Isn't that what everybody is thinking after watching that video?! Well I was looking online, and I went to our Wal*Mart, and I went to our Joann's and nothing...nothing at all. I was bummed because I would have to order online and pay for shipping and blah blah blah. Then my mom's friend came to the rescue! This little shop in town sells them along with a bunch of random things! So I went and got the Red Doodle Style and started in.
I now have the Red Doodle, The Simple Orange, The Eco Green, The Pretty Pink, and The Wedding White. I think that's it. The Red is all filled, random stuff. The Orange I am using as kind of a whatever I want, about me sorta thing, The Green was for summer 2012, The Pink one I am using for documenting our Washington Trip, and The White, well what else do you think it's for? LOL, all of my wedding ideas and shtuff!!
So in this blog post, I am featuring a 2 page spread out of my Orange book. It's called 100 Things I Adore AKA 100 Things I Love. I totally fell in love with this idea after seeing a gal name Crystal, her blog here, post this page on our SMASH*aholics Facebook Page! I was like oooh, I gotta do that. And I finally did. It took a very long time to come up with my list, or at least it was until I followed Crystal's tutorial and little list she made for all of us on her blog post about this. I altered my list a little bit here and there. Well, here's my pages. ENJOY!

SMASH*ing
My sister in law to be and I had a little smash get together on Saturday! She was just using a regular journal but she finally went a bought one of the actual SMASH books, I'm excited! We had my mother in laws dining room and table covered, the words out of her mouth were, "do you think you have enough stuff?!" OF COURSE NOT! :)
Here's the page I did, the left hand side is my to be sis in law Shelby and myself and the right is of my momma. I'm fairly happy with the way they turned out!

Printing 3x4 Photos.
Hey there! I wanted to do a little tutorial on printing smaller photos to use for scrapbooking! I like using this small size in my SMASH* books since the pages are a little small for 4x6, but I'm sure a lot of people use this size for Project Life!
1st Step: I have the app PicStitch on my iPhone, so I use that! But I'm sure any of the photo collage apps would work.
2nd: Once I have that open, I choose the template for two photos, lately I've been doing the horizontal but you could do vertical too!
3rd: Make sure the aspect is on 4x6 when you open that template, that way it's the right size and you shouldn't have to do any cropping at printing time!
4th: Add your photos, (when you first download the app it should give you a run down on how to do it, but you double click to add your photo). It will give the option to add effects or write or edit the photos, totally up to you!
5th: Click the export button and click save to album!
I have always printed using Walmart's instant print machines because I love that they come out fairly quickly and that I can preview the photos completely to make sure they're just how I like them! And they're decent quality! Hope this helps someone!

Brutice!
Meet Brutice! Nate found him on the side of the road during work and said he was in really rough shaped and wanted to bring him home! He's a mixed breed but know he definitely has pit bull in him and we're thinking heeler?. He is the sweetest dog ever though! He was pretty wore out the first day we brought him home but we made him a pen to stay in while we're at work and built him a dog house until we can get him a better one! After a day of love, attention, real dog food, and some good sleep in a warm place, he was very excited and lively! We most definitely think he's a keeper! He likes to play with the cat and seems to be good with kids so were super excited! We've been taking him on walks every morning and night and he loves it!
I have always been one to believe that pit bulls are only mean if they're trainer makes them mean but have never had proof and now I do! We didn't even make him a nice dog, he came to us happy and sweet! Whether we have him for a long time or not I will always be a proud supporter of pit bulls!
